In Ogden she had been a Sunday school teacher and president of the Flemming Edmond Missionary Society, Unit No. 1. She served as PTA secretary at T.H. Bell Junior High from 1971 to 1972. She had been a volunteer for the American Heart Association and was a member of the Friendly Eight Club. Surviving are her husband of Washington Terrace and two daughters, | Mrs. Reginald (Beverly A.) Hammons, Ogden; Carolyn E. Simmons, Salt Lake City; two grandchildren.
