She received her formal education through St. Stephensons where she also confessed her hope in Christ. She relocated from Arkansas and united with Johnnie Allen in 1947. In 1952 they moved to Ogden, Utah where she united with the New Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B. J. Washington. Johnnie and Willie Mae were blessed with one child, David J. Allen. Willie Mae served faithfully and untiringly as amember of New Zion Baptist Church until her death. | She leaves to cherish fond memories, one son, David J. Allen, one daughter-in-law Cheryl, one brother Sammie Lee Wilson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, three sisters, Ola Mae Drochezer of Monticello, Arkansas, Freddie Jolly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Wi and Juenell Logwood of Chicago, Illinois. Eight nephews, fifteen nieces, twenty-one great nieces, twenty great nephews, three great-great nephews, and three great-great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
