Show Lucy Geneise Beal October 15, 1963 ~ September 9, 2021 (age 5/7) Obituary Lucy Geneise Beal, 57, passed September 9, 2021. Lucy was born October 15, 1963 in Ogden, Utah to Reola Bell Beal and Billy Joe Beal Jr. Lucy will always be remembered for her warmth and generosity, her commitment to humanity in the community and for individuals, her brilliance and optimism, and her great big loving heart! She set an example of courage and compassion that inspired everyone who knew her. She will always be remembered for being passionate, fearless, and ensuring what needed to get done, was done correctly. She instilled that loving passion in so many of us. A love and devotion that will live on. Thanks for loving so many “Auntie” and “Sis”. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School, attended Dixie College and Painters Beauty College. She was the owner of Reflections Salon for over 15 years and was the founder of Loving Hands Charity (feeding and clothing many in the community). She volunteered at local Ogden community churchs and helped to feed many. she was affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) Embry Chapel and Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Lucy enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, cooking, flea markets, yard sales and traveling (cruises) and was an event singer. She was preceded in death by her father Billy Joe Beal Jr and mother Reola Bell Beal. Lucy is survived by her sister Tena O’Rhea Beal, brothers Brad (Kathleen) Beal, Tracy Beal and Tra-Bradiken Beal and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden with viewings Thursday, September 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. |
