Show Harry Nunn, Jr., 55, of Los Alamos, California, passed away on Friday, October 9, 202), at the Marion Medical Center, Santa While growing with his parents living Maria, California. up in a military family, Harry spent some of his early years and two brothers in several different countries including: England, Korea, and Guam. In 1984, Harry graduated from Layton High School, Layton, Utah. Harry earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah. For more than 30 years, he was employed by Veoneer Inc. AS a member of the company's leadership Controller. Through his employment, Sweden, and Mexico. and team, Harry held the position of he traveled internationally to Germany, France, Harry was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church of Ogden Utah. Harry his father, the late Harry Nunn Sr., shared the privilege of being baptized together on the same day. : Harry enjoyed many outdoor activities. He was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed “crappie fishing”. He was also a passionate soccer fan and proudly served as the Regional Commissioner of the American Youth Soccer Organization Region 180. Harry was highly respected and well known throughout the Santa Ynez Valley Community for his leadership and skill in recruiting volunteers to support the soccer program. He truly was “The Soccer King”. Harry was a loving husband to his wife Tracy. He was a kind and generous father to his daughters Trinity and Jaida. Harry knew no greater joy than seeing his daughters on the Pitch. Harry was a trusted son to his mother Betty. To his friends throughout the Santa Ynez Valley Community, to whom people were drawn", To enjoyed his daughters, being happy. he will be Along he was viewed remembered with their as a “Beacon of Light as a person frequent trips to who loved life and Starbucks, and his attachment to his pet dog Daisy, they will forever recall his comical and encouraging saying: “lam a high flying, profiling, limousine driving, jet plane flying, son of a gun.” As a heart-transplant recipient, Harry was dedicated to serving and supporting the needs of others. Harry was preceded by his father, Anthony Ray Nunn, loyal and faithful wife of 33 years, Tracy LaShay Nunn, and and in death Jaida his Inlaws Brent and Grace Lyric Nunn Sr. and a brother, Dolores Smith. He Is survived by his L. Nunn Nunn, Harry and two lovely daughters, Trinity all of Los Alamos, California; his honorary son Alexander Spence (Christina) Orcutt, California; his loving mother, Betty Ann Nunn of Las Vegas, Nevada; one older brother, Danny Charles Nunn of Ogden, Utah: his sister-in-law Jessica (Aaron) Johnson, brothers-in-law Todd (Kristy) Smith, B.J. (Michelle) Smith all of Utah. He also is survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Harry is also survived by his “Brothers from Other Mothers” Dennis Hannah and Richard Owens. His laughter, his kindness and gentle spirit will forever be in the minds and hearts of his family and friends, Although there are many this world, there are “NUNN BETTER” than Harry Nunn, Jr. kind and loving people in |
