Since 1953, students at Ben Lomond High School have been creating scrapbooks. These books document the memories of the students each year. The scrapbooks hold a snapshot and time capsule of each student body. Each one contains photographs, newspaper articles and a written yearly history. |

Show HOLDING THEIR OWN > - More Tilts ThisMa For Prep Hoop Teams High school basketball teams of Regions One and Two more than held their own again this week during preparation games for the league ‘season which opens Jan- uary 9. Most impressive were Ogden’s win over West and Bear River’s conquest of South High. And while this was going on, the Weber Warriors picked up wins number two and three during the week. They haven’t been beaten. -Ben Lomond split during the week to bring its record to 2-1, while the Davis Darts had their perfect score broken by Granite in a thriller. The young Box Elder club in————— t it could be trouble during the league season when it won its second straight this week. MORE ACTION Several game will be played in the area this week. One of the top contests will be staged at Ogden High Tuesday evening when the Tigers meet Olympus High. The veteran Olympus club downed a good Provo team this past week, should be a real test for the ange and Black. Then on Saturday, Ogden meet an alumni group made of the great 1950 Tiger team cluded on that team were. Hull, Bob MHarbertson, and Orwill up InBill Ron Wright, Mark Ballif, Jr., and Ron Wilkinson. They will also play for the alumni Weber Saturday. High will go after win number four tomorrow when it takes to the road again to battle South Cache at Hyrum. What has made Weber’s record even more impressive that it has won all of its games on the road. Warrior followers will get their first look at the Weber team at home when it hosts the Grizzlies from Logan. TWO GAMES ‘The Ben Lomond. Scots have two this week. games On scheduled Thursday also for they meet Murray in Ogden, then trav- el to Bingham Friday for a meet- ing with the Miners. So far this season, the Scots have defeated Orem and Cyprus and has dropped one to West. Davis, the defending Region ‘| Two champion, meets the Jordan Beetdiggers Friday in Kaysville. North Summit from the Class B ranks takes on the Box _ he | Bees Friday at Coalville. '| Bees then host Preston High from Idaho on Saturday. The Bear River Bears get a shot at -West High this week. These two teams meet Thursday in Salt Lake City. Then on Friday the Bears tangle with Tooele at Garland-Tremonton. December 14, 1958 |
