The Warriors got hot in the last quarter to down the Scots, 57-38. 19-point spread. For the Weber Warriors, who have yet to be beaten this season, it was the second consecutive | Region Two victory of the current campaign. Ben Lomond has lost two and won none in league play this year. First quarter scoring was sparse as ball handling miscues ‘and sticky defending kept both teams away from the _ basket. Each managed but one field goal apiece. January 15 Ben Lomond added three ‘free shots and the Warriors five to hold a 7-5 lead at the end of ? 1 the first period. STARTED SLOW Weber didn’t get its field goal et the game was 5% minutes old. Both teams seemed to settle | down more in the second quarter ‘and the scoring picked up. With Combes scoring: six points and Moore doing some good backboard work, the Scots stayed within four points of the Warriors only two points back and were at the half, 20-18. | The third quarter was a repeat of the second with the backboard work of Moore and the playmak-| ing of Belliston, Combes and Deamer giving the Scots the scoring edge. With the Combes quarter tied the almost score over, at 27-27. A few seconds later, he hit again to give the Scots the 30-29 lead they held going into the last pe-| riod. The Warriors regained the lead on two foul shots by Rhees as the fourth period started. Combes ied it again a few seconds later.
