Scots were busy catching up on tests, homework and just “gettin’ back to the old grind.” One of the busy Scotties is Bill Pace, president of the LDS Seminary. As president, he has to preside at council meetings—held ‘| every other Tuesday—and help plan the year’s activities, among other things. A few of the seminary activities coming up are an ice skating -| party, a joint dance with Ogden Seminary, and a full-length movie. When asked by this reporter what he liked to do, he answered: “IT like to play the organ and keep busy. Sleep when I get a chance.” In the Far West Ward, he is priesthood organist, Mutual and Sunday School organist. Bill thinks girls are “the best thing that happened to man, I like ’em.” But the question of going steady presents another viewpoint. This teaching will give them good training for the future. President this year is Jean Edwards. Acting as vice president is Kayleen Ran-, dall, secretary is Wanda Wimmer, while historian duties go to Karen bara Morf. Librarian is Bar- missing its reg- Loveland. Room 7 was ular teacher all last week and will probably be without her for another week. Miss Margaret Neal is starting out the New Year by spending 10 days to two weeks in traction at a local hospital. Reason? Her sacroiliac is acting up.
