Show Cheney Wash FRIDAY, SEPT. 1, 1893 I looked around Spokane this morning went down to the falls, across the bridge and took in the town generally: at 10.25 a.m. I start for Cheney on N.P.R.R. I arrive here shortly before noon and make my way up town to the drug store where I meet the Doctor We go up to the house and I meet Mary Ann Mamie and Ethel. All are pleased to meet again and we have a nice time talking ect We have dinner and in the afternoon Dr and I go down to the office Cheney Wash SATURDAY, SEPT. 2, 1893 A warm day. Spent the day in visiting and at the office. This evening a little girl came in with her finger cut nearly off and we fixed it up for her. Nothing special going on in town This is a very pretty little place of about 1500 souls and located in the pine timber I wrote to Mother and Ezra to day. |
