During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Thanksgiving Day THURSDAY, NOV. 30, 1893 Cheney. A fine day. Had a fine sleigh ride this afternoon. The Band was out. We ate dinner at home and had a good dinner. The Brass Band gave a party this evening. I attended with Miss Walter and had a very fine time The ladies Relief Core got up a splendid supper for the dance The party did not close until 2.45 a.m. I danced very hard and enjoyed myself Cheney FRIDAY, DEC. 1, 1893 Is thawing some today. I feel a little tired after the ball Have collected some and paid several small bills around town. Examined one applicant for the Equitable Life Ins. Co and had one office patient. We recd a letter from Dr. Pomeroy |
