Show FRIDAY, JAN. 20, 1893 Not so cold to day. Neither Wintermute nor I received a call last night, so had a good sleep; but I have contracted a cold and feel a little rocky. I attended Wilsons lecture this morning then visited my patients and found all doing fairly well. Attended lectures this afternoon and reported my obstetrical work to Prof. Parvin. Went down to the Price Mission and had a little talk with the party in charge, who expressed great satisfaction with our work ect. and as my time is up, delivered my key and came home. Have read some this evening, but am awfully tired. SATURDAY, JAN. 21, 1893 Some warmer to day. I attended Prof DaCostas clinic at Penn Hospital He had a case of relapsing Typhoid and a very interesting case of double Pneumonia Attended the lectures at Jefferson Prof Wilson completed his lectures on fevers and took up diseases of the digestive tract. This evening at 8 oclock Dr. S. Weir Mitchell a graduate of Jefferson and now President of University of Penn., delivered a very interesting lecture to the Students of the Jeff. College. We rented some flowers for the occasion and gave him a nice reception |
