During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show TUESDAY, MAR. 7, 1893 This morning at 2 a.m. Jack Camball a 3rd year student from Canada died of Typhoid fever in the Hospital. His Father and Mother were with him. He died very suddenly. This morning the class held a meeting to see about showing the proper respect to the remains of a respected student. At 3 oclock p.m. Prof Parvin addressed the Students and Faculty. Some of the boys sang very nicely. At 7.30 the class fully 500 men viewed the remains and followed the hirse to the depot. The Faculty and Students showed great respect to the Parents The Father is a Physician WEDNESDAY, MAR. 8, 1893 A nice warm day I attended Kiens Surgical clinic and it was very interesting. Had several syphilitic cases before the class Did a circumcision on a little boy, ect. Profs Parvin and Wilson lectured in the afternoon Read as usual until 11 p.m. and retired |
