Show Cheney Wash TUESDAY, NOV. 28, 1893 A stormy day. Have had two patients to day Business is dull this fall Received a letter from Mother and Sam Cheney Wash WEDNESDAY, NOV. 29, 1893 Aunt Sarah Rich died today. I was called out at 12.05 a m this morning by Tellegram to go to Tyler a distance of ten miles. A bad night is snowing I conclude to go on the train: get down to Tyler in the middle of the night and have to walk a mile and a half through the snow to get to my patient. Walk back mile and sleep a little. Was detained in Tyler all day. Removed a tumor from Mrs Bostons foot and was called to see a sick child Returned to Cheney at dark and had to patients waiting for me. A stormy night. 5 inches of snow |
