Show Cheney Wash SUNDAY, DEC. 24, 1893 A pleasant day. Charley did not get back from Spokane: so, I have had to tend the Drug Store all day. I went to the Methodist Church this evening and heard a very nice sermon by Rev. Manier. No letters from home. Cheney Wash MONDAY, DEC. 25, 1893 A pleasant day. Charley got home on the midnight train last night: so, I do not have to see to the store to-day. We had a very nice dinner Mrs Pomeroy, Mamie, Ethel, Lolla Grubb, Mr. Dermin, and Charley and I ate dinner at home and had a pleasant time. The girls sang and we danced. The girls went down skating. Dr. Wells and I went down on the ice a few minutes. I took Miss Grubb to the party in the evening. We danced until 3 oclock a.m. and had a nice time: Supper at Delmonico. |
