Show Provided by Myers Mortuary & Cremation Eleanor Jean Tillman Services November 17, 1938 ~ April 25, 2018 (age 79) Clearfield - Eleanor Tillman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1938. She was reared and educated in Pittsburgh where she received her nursing degree in which she worked in the field for several years; she also became a teacher which she truly loved. Eleanor was a wonderful designer and retired from Mervyn's retail store as a Visual Merchandising Manager. Services A service summary is not available Eleanor married Joe Louis Tillman on July 16, 1961 and to this union two children were born, Jodi Tillman-Smith and Todd Tillman. She confessed Christ at a very young age and after moving to Utah she joined the New Zion Baptist Church singing in the choir; she later left due to other commitments. She loved her husband and children; she also held a special place for her beautiful, plentiful grandchildren. Her talents extended into her love for singing, fashion, decorating, teaching and caring for others through her nursing years. She loved playing tennis, riding motorcycles, watching her favorite tv shows and her beautiful flowers. One of her greatest joys and accomplishments was singing with the Pittsburgh Symphonic Orchestra. She is survived by her husband Joe Tillman (Clearfield); her children, Jodi Tillman-Smith (Midvale), Todd (Judy) Tillman (Collinsville, IL); 3 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a host of brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the Tillman Family, Rev. Michelle Boyer-New Zion Baptist Church and Rev. Darrell Jackson-Embry Chapel A.M.E Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
