Show Weber State University - Hall of Fame Eddie Tillman Men’s Basketball, Baseball (1959-61, 1964-66) Inducted October 2010 athletics, With a career spanning Weber’s jump from junior college to four-year NCAA impressive success on the basketball court. Tillman, a native of Clearfield, played two seasons for Coach Kansas, averaging 18.5 points and NJCAAA Region 1 as the Eddie Tillman led the Wildcats to Tillman came to Weber Junior College in 1959 after a standout career at Davis High School and Dick Motta. The Wildcats finished eighth at the 1961 NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, and 22.9 rebounds per game in the tourney. For his efforts, he was named First Team All-ICAA Wildcats enjoyed a xx-x overall record. Tillman left Ogden for three years to serve in the United States Army, where he played basketball for the Fort Sam Rangers. He averaged 30 points per game in his final year of enlistment. Houston Tillman returned to Weber State to find the Wildcats in the Big Sky Conference. The 6-foot-3 Tillman helped the Wildcats win the Big Sky Championships in 1965 and 1966, with a combined 42-8 record during those seasons. Tillman was named All-Big Sky.Honorable Mention after his senior season. Tillman was also a key member of the Weber State baseball squad for two years.
