Show Anthony Nicholas August 16, 1969 ~ December 20, 2021 (age 52) Obituary & Services Obituary Anthony Nicholas was born August 16, 1969, in Oakland, California, to his proud parents, Walter and Jacqualyn Nicholas. Anthony (Tony) accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized by Rev, S. J. Scott at Greater Saint Paul MBC. He never forgot his upbringing. When his work schedule permitted, he would attend various church functions and gospel brunches with friends. Tony was studious and consistently scored high on exams. He attended Saint Leander Catholic School, Bishop O'Dowd High School, Chabot Jr College, and received a scholarship to Weber State University, Utah. Tony took pride in being a Weber State Wildcat; he briefly held the 3point scoring record and scored a high of 28 points in an upset against Eastern Washington University. He was nicknamed T-Bone, Chicken Bootie, and Turtle by those that knew and loved him. He loved a good challenge, even when it came to challenging his brother or his mom at golf, dominoes, fishing, or shooting pool. He stayed current on world events and all sports. Tony enjoyed basketball, golf, and football and tried his luck at the casinos and fantasy football. He would often watch football games with his friend Kevin Perkins. It was always a rivalry between his Raiders and Kevin's Seahawks. |
