Since 1953, students at Ben Lomond High School have been creating scrapbooks. These books document the memories of the students each year. The scrapbooks hold a snapshot and time capsule of each student body. Each one contains photographs, newspaper articles and a written yearly history. |

Show Ben Lomond HISTOR High TCAL School RRFroxT 1964 - 1965 "Sock man; Hop" Rachel DeBoer, Head Cheerleader hairmen: Kathy Leigh Ward, Jeri Macfarlane, Rebby Flemming, Montgomery, Laurel Holley; Cheerleaders The work was handled completely by the cheer- sttees: leaders as a group because of the type of acti- vitye Sock Hop. This dance is held every year in connection with the Iron Herse game. It is always sponsored by the cheerleaders and is used as a fund raising project to raise money for the cheerleader's outfits. ORMAT: The dance is held primarily to gain spirit for the Iron Horse game. The tiger is hung and the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders are announced during the course of the evening. Also one boy and one girl receives a prize for the most cleverly decorated socks, = ATES AND LOCATIONS: oe * (PENDITURES: _ i RR a sr: The dance was held on Monday, October 5 in the gym. until / e NVOLVEMENT : , It started at 7:00 and lasted 9:00. The gym was decorated with crepe paper which was paid for out of the cheerleader funds. The Hen¢hmen, a very talented combo, played for us part of the evening. They offered their services free of charge. The rest of the evening records were played for dancing.
