Show WEDNESDAY, MARCH THE HIGHLANDER 17, 1965 PAGE 5 SCOTS CLOSE SEASON. Skyview 88, Ben Lomond 63 The basketball season came to a close as the Bobcats from Skyview defeated the Scotties, 88-63. This victory vaulted Skyview to the tournament slot which Ben Lomond had been : trying so hard to gain. A full court press shook the Scottie team, and they never recovered. They couldn’t con- 12 points, Ben Lomond saw their adversaries tally 23. The fourth quarter showed more of the same as both coaches cleared their benches. Sylvester Scott came on strong, as he came off the bench to get some good rebounds and score 11 points. Black was Ben Lomond’s High score, and Skyview took advantage of every Scot error. The game was quite different from the Bear River game as 88 per cent from the free throw line. The Bobcats had five players with double figures. This was by far Jerry’s best game of the year, and he really came through when the chips were down.
