CHEERLEADERS, SPIRIT, VICTORY Definition: Cheerleader—One who leads cheers. What does it take to be cheers? one who leads To be eligible one must obtain a B average and receive no semester U’s. Any number of students may try out during the semi-finals. Out of this number 12 finalists are picked. Six of these 12 are then chosen as the cheerleaders. A cheerleader is selected by her ability to cheer, her personality, and her enthusiasm. Could it be this is only a dream? The look in their eyes shows bewilderment, amazement; in other words they’re stunned. Only one person sits on the bench. Now everyone stays home, but me. I have school spirit. Well ,the game’s over; Ben Lomond wiped out Ogden again. Maybe next year the Tigers will have a chance. I doubt it. Ever since 1964, Ben - Lomond has had the Iron Horse in its show years I bet just case. After the wheels fifty are THE PEP SCOTS! rusty. Oh hum. After talking with the girls, we have decided to forget about the Iron Horse game. After all, what’s the use of playing for something when the opponent doesn’t have a chance?
