At the beginning of October, you sophomores will see more spirit, more yelling, and more plaid than you have ever seen or heard before. The occasion? Iron Horse Week, of course. What is Iron Horse Week? Well, it started several years ago when two rival schools, Ben Lomond and Ogden put up bids for a little replica of the Iron Horse. In order to take possession, the teams had to battle it out in the famous Iron Horse football game. The model, originally built by one of our shop teachers, has pulled to a stop in our show case twice in the last eleven years. Our opponents from up» on the hill have had it for the remaining nine. Now, to get to the point of the article. If, and of course they won’t, Ogden does snatch it away again this year, the tradition will be no more. If one school has in its possession the replica for ten years, they will always have it. So you see how imperative it is to bring our train back to where it belongs, Ben Lomond. - Don’t keep your spirit bot- Headlights? tled up until the Big Game, go to all the football games and show the team you're behind them all the way.
