It is recommended that a student pursuing a major in English Language, Literature, and Speech take particular advantage of the following student activities directed by the Department, and planned as integral parts of its curricular offerings: The Acorn (the College yearbook), Signpost (the student body newspaper), Scribulus (the literary quarterly), debating, extempore and impromptu speaking, oratory, interpretative speech, radio, and play production.
