Show Marc Deru was the Salutatorian at the Fremont High School graduation exercises. Chad Brown, Phillip Ito, and Travis Thompson, from our City, were among those who well represented Fremont High School in region and state tennis meets. Marc Deru received a Standard Examiner Top Scholar Award for his achievements at Fremont High School. Marcus Phipps, Barbara Phipps, and Tenille Howe were among those graduating from Weber State University this month. Scott Holmes graduated from the University of Utah. David Cottam graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and will now complete a one year residency at the L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City. Stacia Winn was crowned Miss Utah Jr. Hospitality at the 2001 Miss Utah National Teenager pageant on May 18 and 19 at the Utah Valley State College. Kyler Logan Simmons was born May 14, 2001, to Jeremy and Tara Simmons. Darlene Pixton, age 68, died May 9, 2001. |
