Staff Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning The Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning offers two programs of study: refrigeration, which treats fundamental principles and practice of repairing, servicing, and conditioning of domestic and industrial units; and air conditioning, which treats the fundamental principles and practices of fabricating, installing and servicing air conditioning equipment. The classes meet the requirements of Type A and Type B programs. The training is also intended to assist a transfer student to meet the requirements of schools giving a Bachelor of Science degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
