The scots go in to the season with good size and speed but the experience is a little on the short side. The only returner from last year is Dick Jardine who is side lined with a knee injury. Randy Jensen’ looks extremely well in the pre-season. He will be looking over the quarterback. will defenses at Bruce Gilbert be one half back. Randy Russell, who is filling the hole left by the absence of Jardine, will also play half back. For example, notice how fast they can make it to federal lunch, and right away they found ott where all the restrooms were. During the first few days of adjustment, a few of them may have lost their way,|!bt there was always a friendly senior or junior nearby to tell them where to go. Sophomores, you're going to take alot a ribbing this year but we all w ant you to ap~ preciate the great school you're now attending. So cheer up.
