Conversational Spanish for Specialized Personnel (Formerly 114, Conversational Spanish for Law Enforcement Personnel.) (5-5) Individual courses tailored to the linguistic needs of law enforcement, nursing, radiological, medical, social services and other personnel who deal with non-bilingual individuals of the Spanish-speaking community. Courses provide for intensive development of oral expression, listening comprehension and reading knowledge of basic Spanish required in performing specialized functions, and include basic Spanish phonetics, vocabulary, cultural material, and short dialogues pertaining to the specialized field which are recited in realistic role-playing exercises.
