The grid season opener was a rousing victory over Wisconsin State University, 60-0. The Wildcats hit paydirt in every way against the Titans - with touchdowns, a field goal and a safety. In "The Year of the Quarterback," Weber met the call with two versatile young signal callers, Mike Rogers and Dale Mager. Our second opponent, Drake University rallied its spirit around quarterback Mike Grejbowski. This Mod Bulldog with his General George Custer haircut didn't bite the dust like his famous counterpart despite Weber's battle cry "Grab Owski's Hair." |
