Show JACK LYNN STAN LLOYD MAX the Badgers won 35 to 27, found the Wildcats leading for the greater part of the game, only to allow the Ephraim team to overcome the lead and win by eight points. The final game was different. In the first half the Badgers built up a large lead. They led 17 to 5 at the quarter and 27 to 16 at the half. Although the Wildcats played superb ball in the last half, the lead was too great and the gun sounded with Weber trailing 36 to 32. DIXIE AT WEBER Weber took both games of the second series with Dixie. Weber went on the season's biggest scoring spree when it defeated Dixie in the first game 60 to 34. It was the best form shown by the Wildcats all season. The second encounter was more nearly equal. Weber led 21 to 18 at the half and proceeded to build up a comfortable lead. Dixie, however, gave Weber a scare by pulling up within 3 points of tying the score before the game ended 46 to 43. MILLER BILL GARTH WEBER AT SNOW The final series with Snow saw the Wild- cats' hopes of a championship go and the Badgers definitely become Utah champions. Weber fought desperately in both games but was unable to cope with the championship play of the Snow team. In the four contests played with Snow, Weber was unable to re- cord a single victory. The last two games were lost by scores of 43 to 33 and 45 to 30. WESTMINSTER AT WEBER With both Weber and Westminster out of the championship, the final series of the season was a dull, listless affair. In the first game Weber converted apparent defeat into victory when defeat seemed almost inevitable. Trailing for practically all the game, the Wildcats finished fast to hand Westminster a 34 to 30 defeat. On the final night the Parsons played an inspired brand of ball and closed the season with a victory. The Parsons piled up an early lead and maintained it to the end of the game to win 39 to 29.
