Show HAZEL STONE Vice President LUCIAN RAY President ALICE KERR Secretary-Treasurer Freshmen OUR SPIRIT CAN BE MATCHED with our great numbers. We have the kick in both the social and school spirit. Class '22 is surely stuck on social affairs and our socials and educational activities have proven successful. Our first appearance in school was sort o' green, but it was wiped away when we gave our first class party. We next entered into bas- ketball. This did not honor us with victory, but it displayed our spirit. With plenty of volume we entered the yelling contest and at least gave the Juniors the slip. Our effective public speaking was low on account of inexperience. Our matinee tangoed off successfully, both socially and financially. We left the jinx behind when our all-star baseball players almost won the interclass series. This bouyed our sinking spirits and it came to pass that once again our spirit was renewed. This fact made the mid-year Freshmen kick for a class party. So on April 10, at 8:30, in honor of our class adviser who was leaving for the east, we gave a party that proved to be one of the jolliest of the year. The "pep" and "kick" of Class '22 is no longer stale, and we have proven ourselves "Fresh-men" both in social and educational activities. |
