Show MARCH 29 -Magdelen becomes acquainted with Garland's mayor. APRIL 1-2-"Mice and Men" at the Orpheum. Frank makes love like an expert. APRIL 3-Sophomores win over Freshmen in class debate. APRIL 4-Tryouts for the Rich oratorical contest. Seven contestants. APRIL 5-Seniors again win in effective speaking. What's the use of getting excited? The Seniors are getting all these contests. APRIL 8-President Evans' funeral. APRIL 9-High school wins the Rich contest for the second time. APRIL 11-Juniors win in effective speaking. How did they do it? Juniors sweep the decision from the Seniors in the second class debate of the series. Girls give Easter dance. APRIL 12-Joint meeting of officers of the three stakes of Weber county to vote for the Weber gymnasium, to cost between $150,000 and $200,000. Our dream is true at last! APRIL 15-President David O. McKay announces the gymnasium to the student body. Was there any enthusiasm? Oh, no. None at all!!! APRIL 16-Nothing but gym all over the school. Professor Terry leaves for government work at Washington, and the school parts with one of its best instructors. APRIL 17-U. A. C. Glee Club entertains the student body. APRIL 18-Junior Prom. The most successful ever given to Weber's Seniors. APRIL 23-Weber defeats High school in the first baseball game of the series. APRIL 25-Girls' day. Co-eds declare a strike on all school work and entertain the school for the day and evening. APRIL 30-Deaf and Blind school goes down before Weber in the second baseball game. MAY 1-Weber piles up the score against the Industrial school. MAY 2-Nominations for next year's student body officers. Five positions railroaded through. Faculty honor dance to Seniors and College. MAY 5-Sweaters are presented to the basketball squad. High school again loses the baseball game to Weber. MAY 7-Weber wins from Deaf and Blind school. MAY 9-Seniors give dance to student body. MAY 10-Weber's Mormon Battalion puts High school cadets to shame in the Golden Spike parade. MAY 13-Unlucky day for Industrial school. They are shut out by Weber in baseball. MAY 15-Faculty gives banquet to the Senior and College classes. Dr. Lind blushes. Kaysville team comes up for defeat. MAY 16-Honor students are presented with pins and medals. MAY 18-Brigham H. Roberts delivers the address to the graduates. MAY 19-At Kaysville: Weber 6, Davis 5. Close game, but Weber tightens up. This wins the northern division. Senior play "strenuositizes" the audience with laughter. MAY 20-Senior day. Alumni banquet at the Hermitage. MAY 21 -College day. College co-eds throw out all the male section and have a glorious time in the country. Seniors take a vacation in the hills after a swim. MAY 22-Field day. The team loses its first baseball game of the season to East Side High. Dance in the Hermitage at night. MAY 23-Commencement. The saddest day in the year. Juniors cheer up Seniors with refreshments.
