Students whose registration is incomplete will not be permitted to attend classes after the close of the first week. As provided in the constitution of the Associated Students of Weber College, all regular students are required to take the activity card, which will admit them to all activities controlled by the Associated Students: athletic events, dramatic and musical productions, and one dance a month. In addition a free subscription to the college newspaper and literary magazine will be included. It has been found that this system provides an excellent means of fostering interest and participation in student activities. Engineering 4 or 4a, 5 or 5a, 6 or 6a 1.00 Geology 5 .50 Geology 7, 8 1.00 Office Machines for Secretaries, each quarter 1.00 Physics 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 1.00 Physiology 1 50 Posting Machines and Calculators, each quarter 1.00 Secretarial Technique, each quarter 50 Typewriting, each quarter 1.00 Zoology 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 17a 1.00 MISCELLANEOUS FEES Special Students. $2.00 per credit hour, minimum fee $10.00 Special students registered for any laboratory class pay the laboratory fee in addition to the above charge. In the case of Physical Education classes, special students pay $5.00 a class per quarter instead of $2.00 per credit hour. Evening Courses. Technical and trade evening courses of a laboratory nature require a fee of $1.00 per clock hour of instruction for the 12 weeks' period. Special shop and material fees are levied in addition to the instruction fee. Special Auditor, each class 5.00 Listeners in laboratory or activity courses pay the laboratory fee and $2.00 for each credit hour represented by the course, with a minimum of $5.00. Late Registration. Students who register late are required to pay a late registration fee of 50 cents the first day, $1.00 the second day and through the remainder of the first week, and $2.00 after the first week. Registration is not complete until the student has presented his fee cards at the Treasurer's Office and settled for his fees. Graduation Fee 3.00 Music Practice Room, per quarter 2.00 Refunds With the exception of fees not subject to refund, all fees except $5.00 will be refunded to any student voluntarily withdrawing from school who makes the proper application, the amount of the refund being in the same proportion to the total amount paid as the number of instructional weeks subsequent to withdrawal bears to the total number of weeks in the quarter covered by the fees paid, provided that no refund is allowed for withdrawal during the last four weeks of the quarter. Refunds to students voluntarily withdrawing from school will be made upon application only. The official receipt given for all payments made on fees must be presented to the Treasurer's Office when applying for a refund. No refunds will be granted to students who are requested to withdraw from Weber College for failure to comply with scholarship requirements or for any other cause of dismissal. 'No refund. |
