Show COLLEGE AND PROFESSIONAL CURRICULA The following courses are suggested for guidance of students who desire to complete heir lower division requirements for the study of professional and college courses GENERAL AGRICULTURE In the field of Agriculture a student may choose to major in any one of the following courses: Agricultural Economics, Agronomy and Soils, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Husbandry, Poultry Husbandry, Horticulture, and other related fields. The following curriculum will give the student the basic work necessary for specialization in any of the fields of Agriculture. Freshman Year A. W. S. Many of the above courses are taught each quarter, therefore, students may choose the quarter they desire to pursue specific subjects. A student intending to teach in the high school should consult the head of the Department of Education regarding the substitution of courses and requirements for specific colleges. LEADING TO THE STUDY OF LAW A student preparing for the study of Law should complete all regular requirements for the title of Associate of Arts or Associate of Science. The student should, with the advice and consent of the head of the department, select courses pre-legal in content. Such courses as stenography, typewriting, business law, shop practice, music, and drawing may not satisfy the entrance requirements to the Law schools. A student who is planning to meet requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree, which is required by some schools for entrance to law, should pursue a foreign language. A student should also pursue a foreign language if he knows it is required in the law school that he plans to attend. A student should not fail to consult the catalogue of the particular school where he intends to pursue his law work, because the pre-legal requirements vary in different schools. If a student has had two years tying in high school, Business 61 and 62 may be omitted. Attendance at summer camp is retired by all schools of Forestry and is prerequisite for graduation. The summer camp courses should be taken between the sophomore and junior years LEADING TO THE STUDY OF SOCIAL WORK A student preparing for Social Work should complete all regular requirements for the title of Associate of Arts or Associate of Science, and in addition should complete Sociology 1, 2, and 8.
