Paris May 28 (Continued) When we got to the Hotel we had supper then took a stroll out over some of the Boulevards. And oh the Mademoiselles running around loose, twos, dozens, yes hundreds of them on the street and in the wine shops which are at night placed out on the sidewalks. We stopped at one place on the “Boulevard des Italianes” got some schooners and then sat down to watch the promenade. Some scene. Doughboys, Gobs, Shavetails, anyone with a few francs in his pocket looked good to these hussies who would openly come up, take a fellow by the arm and openly offer to sell themselves for the night for so many francs. Tomorrow we go on whatever sight seeing trip the Y has booked as we dont have to get out of Paris till 10:45 tomorrow night when we take train for Le Havre Paris France, May 29th 1919 Today is some kind of a French Holiday so everything appears to be closed. However we got a trip upon the great Ferris Wheel 328 feet high, with cars containing 30 persons It was a very nice trip and when we came down we went to see the Eiffel Tower not far from the Wheel.
