I was too tired to do anything other than board the Red Cross truck at the Depot and go to bed. Got up the following morning and joined a sight seeing party. Saw the famous War Painting “Pantheon de la Guerre” and a most wonderful piece of art it is showing all the Nations of the Allies on different panels and picturing their Entry into the war. So real are the painted figures that one imagines himself gazing on the real heroes and great men of the war. It sure must have cost a lot of money as it took 19 Artists working continually all four years of the war.
