Acknowledgements In October 1999, the late Edmund Wattis Littlefield and Broken Hill Proprietary, Ltd. donated the Utah Construction/Utah International Collection to the Stewart Library Special Collections. Widely respected for his business acumen, Littlefield was a former company president and chairman, as well as a grandson of founder Edmund O. Wattis. A generous gift from the William H. & Mattie Wattis Harris Foundation assisted in processing and preserving this extensive collection of photographs, business records, correspondence, and artifacts. Descendants of the founding families have provided additional support to underwrite annual symposia. Lucky Mc posters and artifacts loaned to the Stewart Library by former company geologist Charles Snow enhanced the information in this book and the exhibits at the 2005 symposium. Colophon This book was researched and written by Linda Sillitoe. Layout and design by Pablo Airth. Unless otherwise credited, all photographs are part of the Utah Construction/International Collection, housed in the Stewart Library Special Collections at Weber State University, Ogden, Utah.
