Show ORCHESTRA The School Orchestra has taken part in many phases of student activity. It assisted in the production of Honolulu Bound, The Bells of Corneville, and in a special program of excerpts from operas. In addition it rendered selections between the acts of the school play and played at other public activities. The Woodwind Quintet, too, has been active. It played before many audiences and was acclaimed one of the best organizations of its kind in the history of Weber. One of its outstanding performances was at the University of Utah in conjunction with an address by President Creer in a program presented by Weber College. WOODWIND QUINTET BAND The Band is perhaps one of the most spirited organizations on the campus. It has rendered peppy music at all of the games and pep rallies. It has played in assembly and in public apperances. In short, it has been the spark plug of the Wildcat spirit. The recently organized male chorus, The Dorian Singers, represents a select group and is expected to remain a permanent unit of the Music Department. The Musettes, nine singing girls, has also become a popular part of the Music Department. MUSETTES AND MALE CHORUS |
