Show WEBER STATE MARCHING BAND ADVENTURES IN MAKE BELIEVE Five fairy tales for children of all ages made up the Children's Theatre production of "Adventures in Make Believe" presented December 1-5 in the Little Theatre. Cast members were students from the WSC Theatre class in beginning acting. The five productions directed by John Elzey were: "Vladimir's Adveture in Search of Fortunes," a Yugoslavian folk tale; "Do Tigers Ever Bite Kings?" a delightful tale of a tiger hunt; "The Queen of Tung Ting Lake," a Chinese folk tale: "The Cookie Tree," the story of a magical gold and silver tree; and "The Mole Family's Christmas," which deals with the meaning of Christmas. The students created the tales through the medium of both pantomime and speaking parts "in an unusual but exciting approach to Children's Theatre." |
