Show OTYOKWA An old Indian legend tells us that clear back in 1932, a group of girls got together at 'urn heap big pow-wow at Weber State College, and the oldest sorority, OTYOKWA, was created. Many moons have gone by since then. Present-day pow-wows are many. Some nights the squaws can be found at exchanges with frats, not only from Weber, but other universities as well. With the aid of the Great Spirits (and their brothers in Beta Theta Pi) the squaws build a hopefully prize-winning float each homecoming. The early morning sun often finds the squaws preparing for Song-fest during the winter. At the annual Sweetheart Ball the squaws really "dance up a storm" with their favorite braves! The Sisters of Otyokwa have much to be proud of- sisterhood and individuality. Serving Otyokwa are: Glenna Lewis, President; Janis Jeppson, Vice President; Tami Lund, Secretary; Vicki Fuller, Correspondence Secretary; Karen Delia Lucia, Treasurer; Debbie VanDyke, Historian; Colleen Ferrin, Rush Chairman; Jocelyn Chow, Co-Rush Chairman; Madilyn Turner, Pledge Master; and Sue Stevenson and Ann Moyse, Advisors. 1 Stephanie Cunningham 2 Mary Taylor 3 Ann Chambers 4 Christine Hansen 5 Laura Beech 6 Sallee Hughes 7 Kay Draney 8 Cathy Feeny 9 Madeline Spiers 10 Sharon Lynch 11 Connie Hoopes 12 Mary Jane Hoffman 13 Jan Stanger 14 Barbara Egan 15 Joan McFarland 16 Tammy Rasmussen 17 Lauren Todd 18 Nancy Telford 19 Mary Ann Costesso 20 Dareth Wilson 21 Glenna Lewis 22 Jocelyn Chow 23 Gayle Gibson 24 Diane Carter 25 Debbie Van Dyke 26 Joan Parker 27 Tami Lund 28 Madyline Turner 29 Ruth Reyns 30 Sandy Brown 31 Janis Jeppson 32 Judy Hagen 33 Irene Watanabe 34 Colleen Ferrin 35 Karen Dellalucia 36 Marcea Jorgensen 37 Cathy Cregun 38 Nancie Berlin 39 Gayle Allen 40 Ellen Orrock 41 Kristy White 42 Julie Caine 43 Vickie Head 44 Cathy Childs |
