Show PHI ALPHA Phi Alpha, the family life club, had its humble beginnings on the Weber State College campus in 1969 as a student chapter of the American Home Economics Association. The purpose of the club is to give women in Family Life sisterhood activities and service projects that promote better standards of home and family living through lectures and demonstrations on culture topics and activities among themselves and other campus groups. One of their main projects this year was to raise funds to put a needy child through the WSC nursery school. It is hoped that this will be a tradition to be carried on in years to come. Phi Alpha members will look back on this year as one full of crazy, fun times. They'll shake their heads as they remember being roused out of bed in the early morning hours just to be escorted to J.B.'s for a pajama breakfast. But most of all we hope they will remember the friendships and learning they acquired in Phi Alpha. Top Row (Left to Right): Lorraine Wood, Sheryl Anderson, Mary Dunn, Kozette Tanner, Barbara Lubeck.
