Planning, training, and employment are realized through the following functions: • Individual Advisement & Class Instruction • Cooperative Education and Internships and other student employment • Graduate and Alumni Employment Individual advisement and class instruction are designed to intervene as early as possible to guide students into rewarding career and life choices. Cooperative education and internship professionals facilitate an alliance among undergraduate students, employers, and faculty members for the purpose of providing academic major-related employment experiences for which college credit is awarded. Professional staff members provide extensive training to Weber State University graduates and alumni to assist them in developing their job-seeking skills, and create an atmosphere wherein the mutual needs of the employers, students, and alumni can be met.
