Saturday We found our girls waiting for us allright and they “took us” to a show (Vaudeville) down on Piccadilly Circus then to a refreshment place for ice cream etc. Had a very nice evening and they want to see us again Saturday at 3:30 to go up to Richmond a recreation park about seven miles up the river. I don’t know whether I’ll go or not, it depends on what I’m doing at that time. We went first to the Old Tower of London seeing first Tower Hill where political prisoners of lesser importance were put to death. Passing inside the walls we came to the old Courtyard in front of the Traitors gate through which prisoners were taken into the town from the Thames River.
