The Department also offers an area of concentration in Production and Inventory Control for the Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree. MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY Description The Weber State Manufacturing Engineering Technology curriculum is nationally recognized as superior in its field. The curriculum is designed to give the student fundamental knowledge of and basic skill in the planning and selection of the methods of manufacturing, the design of tooling and equipment for manufacturing, and treatment of materials used in manufacturing. Computers are integrated in all areas of the manufacturing program. Skills and knowledge are also acquired in team work, human relations, manufacturing resource planning, and integration with the design and production functions. PROGRAM: MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY BACHELOR DEGREE Accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
