A study of simple line design based on primitive art symbols-straight line, circle, spiral, curve and S curve. Motifs are taken from nature and the student's everyday environment. A course dealing with a layman's approach to the understanding and appreciation of art in painting, sculpture, architecture, ceramics, printing and book binding, textiles, etc. Three quarter hours. Collett Bacteriology Dean Albert Anderson It is recommended that a student pursuing a major in Bacteriology complete Bacteriology 1 and la, Physiology 1, Botany 1, and Chemistry 1, 2, 11 or 4, 5, 6, Mathematics 3, and Physics 1 and 2. 1. General Bacteriology. A course devoted to fundamental facts of bacteriology and applications of industrial, economic, and sanitary importance. Three lectures a week. Three quarter hours.
