Aubrey Dimick earned a chair in the Weber School District Honor Orchestra. Erin Spencer won the Student of the Month Elks Award. Todd Spencer and Tyson Heslington's Power Stroke Band competed in the Battle of the Bands at Fremont High and won first place. Revenue FY 02-03 Expenditures FY 02-03 Neighborhood Watch The Neighborhood Watch and Sheriff's Advisory Committee meet quarterly to discuss public safety in our community. At the January quarterly meeting Deputy Gary Worthen of the Sheriff's Office spoke to the committee about gang awareness and school safety. Deputy Worthen is the resource officer at Fremont High School. Some pointers include: 1) know the friends of your kid, 2) be active in the life of your kid by doing such things as attending parent-teacher conference and school activities, 3) know the grades of your kid and help them with homework when possible, 4) know the types of gang clothing that kids sometimes wear, and 5) watch for sudden changes in kid's demeanor and lingo. The committee also reviewed some of the public safety and crime statistics reported since October 2003 provided by Deputy Lowther.
