Parks & Recreation is offering beginning level group tennis lessons this summer. Lessons will last 1-hour and will be at the Tennis Courts on BDO. The cost is $10 for 4 lessons, however, a minimum of 4 students per class is needed for this special rate. The instructor will be Steven Ito, a USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor. Lessons will begin on Thursday, June 14, at 8:00 a.m. Registration sheets are available at the city office or from Steven Ito. Registration payment is due by Friday, June 11. Additional blocks of lessons available based upon demand. Contact Steven Ito at 731-0020. An Evening of Music at the Park Bring your family to the Marriott Park and enjoy beautiful music, local talent, and socialize with friends and family. No charge for this event. Date: June 28 Time: 7:00 p.m. lace: Marriott Park Bring: lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks. JULY 2004 EVENTS July 2nd (Friday) - Get teed-off at the Sixth Annual Marriott-Slaterville Golf Tournament: Tee times available between: 4:00-7:00 p.m. Place: Mulligan's Golf Course. Cost: $10 (includes green fees). Register: Danny Brown 731-4746. July 3rd (Saturday) - Dinner and Karaoke Time: Dinner at 7 p.m., Karaoke at 8 p.m. Place: Slaterville Park July 5th (Monday) - Celebrate America Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. at both Marriott and Slaterville Parks. PARADE!: 11:00 a.m. from 700 South and 1200 West to Marriott Park. 12:00 Noon: Marriott Park - Lunch, contests, and games. This year featuring a super inflatable slide and softball. Approve minutes. 3. Discussion/action on site plan for River Cove Nature Park located at about 1170 West 1700 South. 4. New business. 5. Discussion/action on ordinance amending various chapters of the zoning ordinance by amending definitions in general provisions of Chapter 13.01; amending site development standards in Chapters 13.03, 13.06, and 13.07; amending conditional uses in Chapter 13.23; amending supplemental and qualifying regulations contained in Chapter 13.26; amending design review requirements of Chapter 13.38; repeal various provision of Chapter 15.08 for excavation regulations and adopt such by reference; amend Chapter 15.23 relating to storm drainage; amend Chapter 15.18 relating to architecture, landscaping and screening; and amending Chapter 15.19 relating to community forestry and vegetation. 6. Changes zoning from A-1 and C-3P to light manufacturing (1), near 400 North and I-15. 5. Discussion/action on resolution relating to meeting governance. 6.
