Show District. This year our county had no cases of West Nile Virus. Surrounding counties were not so lucky. But rounding counties do not have a full time mosquito atements district which we enjoy in Weber County. I believe that people in the city realize hungry mosquitos will always be a problem in our area with its high water table. Fortunately, our district works hard to protect us from these little vampires. I apologize that the city flu clinic was canceled. As you know, this was beyond my control because of the shortage of flu shots nationally. Weber County Animal Services encourages us to spay or neuter our pets. It is heart wrenching to see animals at the shelter go unwanted and unloved. It is also expensive for the city and the taxpayer to pay the costs associated with unwanted pets. Help reduce stray pets by having your animals spayed or neutered. May each of you have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy family, friends, and freedom in our wonderful country. Keith H. Butler, Mayor_ Sub For Santa The Community Services Department has volunteered to organize a Sub for Santa drive.
