Contact the city office at 627-1919 to get a garbage bag and arrange pick up. Weeds In June and September each year, all commercial and industrial zoned lots must cut weeds and vegetation to no more than 6" in height. This regulation is to help prevent fire hazards and keep lots attractive. Residents are encouraged to keep residential property attractive and to eradicate or control nuisance weeds, including: poison ivy (Rhus radicans or Toxicodendron radicans), ragweed (Amrosia artemisiifolis), "puncture" weeds, Scottish Thistle, morning glory, Dyer's Wode, or similar noxious vegetation.
