Show SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY AND TRADE TECHNICAL EDUCATION Dr. Wendell Esplin, Professor of Technical Education, earned a PH.D. degree from the University of Utah in 1958. He began his career at Weber State College in 1946, as coordinator of on-the-job training. He has also been a leader in vocational and technical education training in the Ogden area since 1946. At Weber State he also served as the supervisor of the Vocational Education Division and Evening School. He served as Dean of the newly created School of Technology and Trade Technical Education. CONTINUING EDUCATION AND SUMMER SCHOOL Dr. Paul G. Butterfield has been appointed to the position of Dean of Continuing Education and Summer School at WSC. Dr. Butterfield has been for the past two years the director of Summer School, Evening School, and special education at Weber State. A graduate of Utah State University, Dr. Butterfield received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He has served as Chairman of the adult education of the Utah Higher Education Conference. |
