Show COMMITTEE DECORATES FOR HOLIDAYS The Arts and Crafts committee, under the leadership of Chairman Susan Collins is responsible for the decoration of the Union Building during the various national holidays. The committee was also involved in the annual Photo Contest held during the Spring quarter. During Homecoming they were responsible for the Royalty float. AFTER GAME STOMPS TO DINNER DANCES Paul Skeen as Chairman of the Dance Committee is the moving force behind the dances held for the student body. The dances this year ranged from after game stomps to a formal dinner dance. The committee also arranged informal instruction in dancing for interested students. EXHIBITS IN UNION BUILDING STIR INTEREST The Exhibits Committee with Clark Walker as the chairman was responsible for the various art and photographic exhibits displayed in the Union Building during the year. These exhibits included the work of students, faculty members, and various travelling exhibits such as the Air Force art collection. The committee in conjunction with the Alumni Board also sponsored an Alumni Exhibit. COMMITTEE AWAKENS WSC STUDENTS Richard Cass and the Films and Lectures Committee were responsible for all films shown in the U.B. and for the newly created Friday Convocations. The committee sponsored a variety of entertaining and educational activities which included the College Forum, Sound Off, and State Your Stand. Philosophy Emphasis Week Dealt with Values: Relative and Abstract. The theme of Religious Emphasis Week was Religious Situation 1968. The committee was successful in the presentation of interesting, thought provoking activities.
