Show CATS GET BIG SKY CROWN WIN NCAA PLAYOFF BERTH! Weber's great basketball team won undisputed championship of the Big Sky and also the opportunity to be the first BSC team offered a prized berth in the NCAA Western Region Playoffs. The Wildcats faced a tough New Mexico State Aggie team March 9 at the U. of Utah Field House. The Cats played well but ended up on the short end of a 68-57 score. Weber's cheerleaders and student body bid welcome to NCAA teams and visitors. 'higpen adds 2 for Wildcats. Coaches Motta and Johnson discuss strategy during time ouT. Sparks tries for basket to put Cats ahead. Waldo and friends keep crowd yelling. Sparks and Bryant move for rebounds. |
