Show THE MAGNIFICAT IS THE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The Magnificat, which is a Religious Christmas or forcal, was put on by the combined efforts of the Concert and College Choirs and the Weber State Orchestra under the direction of Lyneer Smith of the Music Department. The production was put on December 10, with two performances given. The guest artist for the musical was Charles Smith who was the soloist on the harpsicord. Instrumental and Choral Departments joined to present the year's Christmas program. The combined group for the Magnificat. THE WEBER STATE SINGERS The traditional cream of the crop is the Weber State Singers. The members were chosen from the musical organizations. These people represented Weber State all over the intermountain area. Under the direction of Lyneer Smith they performed a vigorous schedule of concerts, programs, service organizations and school concerts. The Weber State Singers during concert. THE VOCE COEDS Voce Coeds is composed of girls who audition for their places. They sing at sacraments, special programs and concerts. This year they gave a benefit concert to earn enough money to tour high schools for two days giving assemblies. |
